I got it, it works great...Overnight shipping for just like 3 bucks more. It is fine, do not waste your money buying more expensive then this. You won't regret it.

Word up.

What is it about Mac users that make them drink the marketing kool-ade every single time? "You need low power SODIMMs" "Macs are special" blah blah blah

BS!

Crikey, people. 1GB PC2700 SODIMMs from outpost or newegg are <$200. Why spend an extra $100 - $300 on each SODIMM? You could have 2 for less than the price of 1 stick from crucial.

The original poster already paid the premium price and got RAM that *DIDN'T WORK RIGHT*. So much for the time-saving, "it's guaranteed to work" value of the "premium" product.

Buy 2 gigs the cheap stuff and *BE DONE!*

Betcha it will work better than the $250 OWC ram.

Grokgod, yes the Nanya stick I got is low power... because everything listed on that site under PowerBook RAM is supposed to be low-power.

anyhow, even low power RAM will suck just a little more juice from the battery... RAM needs current too, but at least the low power stuff will tax the amps a little less than otherwise.

in other news, I feel like I've outgrown my 1.25GB so one of these days I'll upgrade from my 12" to a 15" or 17" PowerBook.
