I might get some hate for this, but . . .
I initially couldn't decide on colour at all. By the time I finally decided to at least commit to buying an 11 Pro of some colour, the only option available for launch day was Silver, so I went with that.
A few days later, I read that Amazon had plenty of launch day inventory and I ordered a Midnight Green.
Both arrived early on launch day. I hated the Midnight Green immediately. It's mostly a meh grey. Easy call to send it back.
The Silver was a tougher call. The stainless steel casing does look very good — you could believe it was actual silver. But the back just seemed a bit boring. For £1,149 I want to be positively excited about my phone.
So back to Amazon I went, and I've now ordered a Gold. I've seen some pictures posted on these forums of the Gold and I think it may look really great in real life — certainly much better than the iPhone 8+ that I had in Gold — the case is aluminium so the edging is a cheap-looking matte metallic gold (which looked pink in some light) and the back was a weird creamy gold colour I never really got into.
Looking at Apple's case options, the only safe colour for cases seems to be Silver. The other phone colours seem to clash quite horribly with a lot of the case colour options. So if I don't love the Gold, I might stick with the Silver and get a case. I prefer my phones naked, but a case isn't a terrible idea with a phone this expensive.
Are you happy with the colour you chose for your iPhone 11 Pro? (Assuming you've got it now.) Was it an easy call to choose the colour you chose?
