do they come with Idvd and iWeb? do i really need those apps..i learn Lion takes away those two apps. thanks again.

If you spent $1199+tax on the 13" MBP, than by all means go for a $1354 15".
I got a $909 13" MBP via the Kindle promotion, so the +$445 walk up to a 15" was much harder to justify. Luckily I already had the Kindle with special offers.

You ordered a 2010 or a 2011 11"?

Did Amazon have the hi-res glossy display or the 500GB 7200RPM option? I'll cry if it did, I could live with out the 7200RPM drive, but it would be a deal breaker if they didn't have the hi-res display!

Did yours come with lion?

I just received my 2011 Macbook Pro 15" 2.2Ghz and mine came with Snow Leopard and with the install DVDs. I have the option to get a free download of Lion however, there's too many OP complaining about the bugs, excessive heat, and battery consumption. I'm so glad that I returned my 2011 MBA 13" back to Best Buy and purchased my MBP from Amazon using the Kindle 20% Promo coupon.

Offer doesn't seem to be working anymore for 15" MBP, despite saying you can use until Sept. 8, 2011. Can anyone confirm whether the offer is now dead on MacBook Pros? Thanks!

OP, you made the right choice. I used the discount to upgrade from a mid-2009 MBP to the same one you bought. I couldn't be happier with the price :D

Thank you :) Congratz on your new MBP! I upgraded from a late-2009 MacBook.
