I use the Apple leather case. You take the iPod out to use it which suits me.

I use Samsonite iPod socks which are 4.98 at walmart excellent price compare to 29.99 from apple and look the same I also use this http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APP...re.woa/wo/2.RSLID?mco=EBFACE13&nplm=TH556LL/A which is a beast and I have a plastic LCD shield on it. ok so far (but I've only had it a week)
