Proud to share a project I've been working on a while: The Apple PIIe. When I got an empty Apple IIe case, I wanted it to *fully* emulate the machine it once was! I hope this continues to invigorate interest in restoring vintage computers!

Isn't monochrome always greyscale? As opposed to color I mean...?

Apple II monochrome graphics used bitmap patterns to simulate colors.

You can see some of them in this video of Portal for the Apple II. (Well, not the first screens, those are a joke) (The real gameplay starts about 25 minutes in)


The Apple III had true greyscale...

I see what you mean now. Either way it's now in Germany for the next phase in its life!
