the main UPS hub called Worldport is located in Louisville, which is why they're going there even if you're on the West Coast.

Kentucky is a pretty central location, so they send them all there and then distribute on all the local flights. They will probably leave Kentucky early tomorrow, get to your local main distribution center by late in the day, and then be out for delivery Friday

That it true. It my phone did leave at 2:51.. I was hoping for the best but I'll know soon enough.

Just went through arrival scan... Kentucky... Darn!

Flight 918 is scheduled to leave SDF at 3:31am EDT and land in ONT at 4:17am PDT so there is still hope. Small chance though. Oh well Friday it is.

They are manufactured in China. "Import scan" is a blanket term meaning its cleared the import procedures in the US. Apparently the freight doesn't get examined closely in Alaska.
