Hi, there! I've been told in the in the nearby topic that OpenGL is depends on single core CPU performance. Maybe that's why CineBench R15 shows slow results for GTX680 4Gb (~40fps). But under Win7 BootCamped it shows 80fps. Does in Win7 OpenGL use not just a single core of the processor? Closer to my question. I've just upgraded my 2009 Nehalem cMP with 2xX5650 (ordered on Amazon by $200 for couple). Now it has 12 cores and 24309 points in Geekbench 3 64bit. Now I'm stuck with video card because single proc core speed do not allow GPU to fully breath. Maybe, there could be another processor to 2009 Nehalem which can do 3000-4000 points in Geekbench? Is it worth to turn around this case? Or everything is fine and there is no need to upgrade more?
