Hello,

I think by the end of the year I'll take the plunge and get a new iPhone: 12/12 Pro or 12 Pro Max. My choice is not yet finalized. Awaiting tests and taking them in hand.

My question is very simple: Do you have any recommendations for shells with a good protection/appeal ratio? Phones are more and more beautiful and thin, it's a shame to hide them inside a huge brick.

Knowing that for several years, a shell has been adapting and renewing itself on the next model as soon as it is released, I think we have a good sample at the moment.

For my 4S, I had a bumper. For my 5S, 6S+ and X, I had turned to Spigen. This year, I don't know.

Which hull to favor? Which material? Apple's are very beautiful but very expensive and what I hear is not very durable. Some of them made of silicone seem thin, but I'm afraid that in the pockets, silicone will catch various stuffed animals. Anyway, did you find your model?

Thank you.

Do you have any recommendations?

the youtube video about it:

like this one, waiting for the pro max tho

And a bumper is enough? It doesn't scratch the phone trick?

you need tempered glass or screen protector both front and the back to not scratch the fone.

I do is tempered glass on the back, screen protector sticker on the front.

those are after assembling the bumper case.

Bumper seems great with the back protection!

I always go for the Apple branded case. I normally get the leather case but it is not available until next month.

Here are some photos of the iPhone 12/12 Pro Silicone Case in Deep Navy. Can't wait to put it on my new iPhone 12 tomorrow ;)

I have my doubts about silicone in the sense that it clings in the pockets, and it catches all the fluff, right? I don't know if you know what I mean. It's the material that's like that from memory, I don't know if it does it for the Apple one.

Good point... Yes it is a lint magnet. However I usually flip the pocket out and empty as much lint as possible lol.

I am planning to return this as I am waiting for the Apple leather case.

Yours appears to be one of the defective ones as it doesn't look like it has holes for the speakers (unless I just can't see in the photos).

Mine is not defective :)

Talking about the defect, I think they meant to block the lighting port rather than the speakers in preparation for next year’s iPhone ;)

So you confirm my doubts? Silicone is a lint magnet so it’s not usefull? :(
