What is the best thing you think you have ever bought on ebay? Was it mac related?

Mine: Mac VGA adaptors for older macs 10 for $5 shipped

Slim's* CD 0097... it's been out-of-print for years and it's the only way I could get it. Hadda pay a pretty penny for it, too.

* Not the rapper... Slim is an English singer who I think is really amazing.

I've only bought a few things on eBay, but the best thing so far was a copy of the Giant-Size X-Men #2 (from 1975, with pencils by Neal Adams).

I have two things:
my new snowboard, M3 discord, for $150, retail over $350
Seasons 1-3 initial D

Mac OS 8.1. It's the only thing I've ever bought on eBay. If you count local auction site Trade Me, then I'm going to have to think a bit harder - possibly Halo.

JBL Creature II speakers or Bluetooth Apple Keyboard. I don't buy much off ebay and when I do, its usually expensive stuff for my car.

512 MB stick of RAM for my PB. I got it for a great price and it really made a difference to the speed of my PB. 🙂

This is hard, but an original pressing of Lucia Cifarelli's LAND OF VOLCANOES CD. The pressing after that has completely redesigned artwork and an extra track.

I also got a ATI 9200 graphics card for my powermac G4 from ebay.

My best thing definitely was my clarinet. I got a great deal on a used clarinet that was in great condition. But I guess my only other purchase wasn't so bad, either. It was a used GameCube with extra controllers and a few games. It was in great condition, too.

CD-DVD Module for pismo500
out of curiousity, what did that run you? I am in the market for my pismo, as it were...

as to OP, my Optoma lcd projector. Bought quite a few years ago, when I had more confidence in Ebay...got quite a good deal (saved about $500 on store-bought).

It was about two and a half years ago, and I can't find the documentation file off hand, but if I recall, they wanted $79 plus handling. I can get that info for you, if you want. Send me a PM, and I'll see what I can find.

My PowerMac G4 350 Sawtooth 5 years ago. I upgraded it to 1 GHz and I still have it. It's great- got it for $900 at the time. 🙂

Duff-Man says...I have bought lots of stuff on eBay, mostly cheap or hard to find cd's but also little things like firewire cables, external drive enclosures...lots of really good deals - I don't think I can single any one out...oh yeah!

One of my daughters had their favorite Barbie™ broken by one of our neighbors. I was able to find another one for only $8.

Korg Legacy Collection brand new in the box for $200 with the MS-20 controller -- sweet. Fits perfectly under my Dell 20" monitor and with the yellow jumper cables makes me look quite the mad scientist. Plus, I twiddle with the knobs while on boring phone calls...

Guy got it as a bonus with his $4,000 Triton keyboard and didn't want it. Sells for $599 or something regularly.

Duff-Man says...$200 for that is a real steal...great score....oh yeah!
