I loved this show until they Sheldon became the main focus of the show. He was better as a sidekick. His quirks get old.

this is a crazy funny comment. Big bang theory is maybe the biggest geeky humor show I have ever seen on television and its been on for 3 years, and you never saw it before. wow. and you watch CBS as it is on the same night so you had to have seen some lead-ins for it.

Glad I could entertain

I DVR my shows, so what shows air before and after them is totally irrelevant to me. I've held off on BBT because I don't like sitcoms, the only reason I got into HIMYM was for a girl.

I definitely want to watch BBT now, if only to win iOrlando's approval!

I like this show, it's a show i watch while eating my dinner or lunch. Thisshow goes well with two and a half men and how i met your mother, nice easy to follow and funny.

There is a pattern to Chuck Lorre's shows tend to have a pattern similar to this, and it gets old after a few seasons.

This season has been very Sheldon-heavy, and we've basically seen as much growth as we're possibly going to see out of Sheldon by now. It might shift to Leonard for next season, but over all this is the point in the series where the story lines will become rote and predictable. The same thing happened with 2 and a Half Men after the third season (Charlie's womanizing tendencies were fully exhausted, Jake's stupidity had flatlined, Bertha remained the true leader of the pack, and Alan was still 99% straight-man, with 1% filled by his own arrogance and perfectionism).

I'll still give the next season a fair shake, but my expectations are quite low considering Chuck Lorre's history with fourth seasons.

I agree. I was hoping the show would evolve for the better ala Simpsons. Once Bart had done everything he could really do (after what, five seasons?), they switched to Homer and it became hilarious for a while. So I'm not against switching to quirky characters, but in BBT's case they have messed with the good chemistry and flow of the show.

Fools! Sheldon reproduces asexually remember. ;) :p

Actually I think he's busy when he is not studying physics working on a process to Clone Spocks DNA from the sweatty towel penny got him as a gift LOL

What is fascinating is that for a nerd Leonard gets more bumper than a tow truck LOL

Has this show gotten better since the first episode? I watched it when it came out and was really turned off by how forced the nerdy humor and science talk seemed to me.

The IT Crowd on the other hand...now thats quality nerdy comedy.

I like Raj's liquid courage! Classic...

I love the tag to that episode, when Sheldon is playing the keyboard and singing "L'Chaim" because Penny gave him a virgin Cuba Libra "that was a little slutty"! :D

The Time Machine episode is classic. The bit where Leonard is sitting in the machine, starts it up and all the other guys start moving really fast to simulate traveling into the future...ROTFLMAO.

I just wish CBS did not schedule this at 9:30 on Mondays, with How I Met Your Mother at 8 p.m. There's an hour of crap in the middle!
