Three new downloadable content packs are now available for the Mac version of The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, including Hangar 6 R&D, CodeBreakers, and Light Plasma Pistol.

First released for Mac in November by Transgaming, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is a third-person tactical shooter set in late 1962, at the height of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. Players take control of special agent William Carter and his two squad members to defend humanity, with a focus on shooting and squad-based tactics. Each downloadable content pack includes new missions, weapons, and more.

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified can be purchased from the Mac App Store for $19.99. DLC is available at an additional cost within the app. [Direct Link]

Who cares. They should make a sequel to XCOM Enemy Within.

Yes, please. Dozens of sequels. And release them all on iOS immediately. Playing XCOM on the can is the best part of any work day.

Don't buy, it is ported by Transgaming. They are a cancer for Mac gaming, no support, bad performance, no updates.

Buy the original XCom Enemy Unknown on Mac App Store or Steam, it is made by Feral, a great Mac software house, much more better performance, awesome support, they listen costumers and update games even after years if necessary. Feral rocks. Transgaming sucks (they ruined many ports like Guild Wars for example).

    Yeah, but

Although you are right that Feral are amazing, and Transgaming isn't exactly, XCOM: Declassified and XCOM: Enemy Unknown + Within, are two completely different games, made by completely different people. I prefer strategy games, and if you're in the market for a TPF there are better options out there, but some people might want to play XCOM: Declassified, and while it sucks for them that it's a transgaming port, it's still the best they can get for that specific game, as there isn't any other solution for it. (Other than other platforms). My point is just that advising them to buy XCOM Enemy Unknown/Within instead, is like advising someone to buy a desk when they need a chair.

    Hi ikir,

I am sorry that you feel this way about TransGaming. We strive to create the best Mac experience possible and deliver great games for our customers to enjoy.

As a matter of fact, this recent update to The Bureau: XCOM Declassified brings DLC content and a crucial fix for a bug about custom key mappings that was annoying many players. We care about our customers and if you are having any specific issues with The Bureau, Guild Wars 2, or any of our other games, I encourage you to contact our support team (support@transgaming.com) at your earliest convenience.

I'll bite, how can a potentially bad port make a game released bad worse. Generally when a game has so many developer companies that it was passed to you need a scorecard to track them....the game comes out bad. Declassified did not break from this trend.
