The buttons on Apple.com are dark now. Didn't they used to be silver? Is it a clue?

Ok so I went to http://www.apple.com and the buttons are dark metallic. Didn't they used to be silver?

What if this is a symbol?

Like what if this is a stylistic allegory because there are rumors of a dark Macbook Pro and that mock image kinda had the same dark metallic vibe. What if this indicates a new uniform elegance and the buttons are a pre-cursor?

Yes, they were silver.

I'm not sure of its meaning. A darker colored MBP would be cool.
