I wanted to let everyone know I’ve created a color picking app for designers called The Color App. It’s now live in the Mac App Store:

The Color App
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-color-app/id883952273

Some features:
-A huge color grid where you can zoom in on colors.
-Sample a color from anywhere on your screen.
-Create customizable color palettes with visualizations so that you can see how colors work together.
-Shows you the color RGB, Hex and HSLA values so you can copy/paste them for web design work.

This is a version 1.0 and my first live OS X app, and has been a great learning experience for me. If you have any feedback for me, things you like, things to improve, features you’d like to see, feel free to let me know. And, I’d be grateful if you rated it and/or left a comment in the App Store.

Thanks!
Chris
