hi, my computer, or anyone elses computer cant find my ipod, but i can charge it in the wall

anyone know what i can do

Turn your Mac/PC off then on again, It could be that your USB Ports aren't responsive (Happened to me the other day ans I was mental thinking the iPod and Ex.HDD were broken

If you've just bought it recently, send it back to the store.

Since it's the same for other computer's, that means its either your iPod, or cable that's not working right. If you've got a friend/relative who's also got an iPod, try using their cable. If that works, then just get the cable replaced. If it still doesn't work, then you've got yourself a defective iPod.

if its a Classic or nano have you tried to reset it by holding down the MENU button and 'button between the scroll wheel'??

no offense or anything but you make it sound like the iPod ran away from the computer lol
