This thread makes me want to collect USB keys. Seriously. I don't collect anything. Maybe this is it! haha, how nerdy

But fun

i dont have a link but they had a tech special on the history channel and they went over the coolest usb ports. some of the cooler ones was a hampster wheel that when you type type, a fan that can cool a beer, and a fish tank. They were massive but really funny

Well, I am looking to purchase myself a new USB key for file transport from home to work, etc. One of the features I desire is the almighty "cool factor". One that is enjoyable to show to people, a conversation topic if you please... I realize that this usually isn't the most affordable way to buy USB keys, but sometimes a good icebreaker is worth a few extra bucks.

I previously owned a Swiss Army USB Key/Knife, which I really liked, but alas it is lost. The one below is a cool one I've found, but I was wondering if there were any other really cool ones out there that you would recommend. Post some photos of your favorite "cool USB KEY!"

I rather have a usb key that is fast than something that looks pretty and costs twice as much.

Some of the new ones are water proof but are quite slow at uploading and downloading from. I go for the fastest ones I can and don't give a toss what they look like as long as they fit on my car key ring.

love the lego ones. shame their so expensive. oh well.

the flexible/stackable ones look neat too, shame its just a concept?

and the bear was just awesome

I have one like this (2GB) and another similar one (1GB).

Always afraid that I will loose them.

Nice thread, I thought I'd seen all the odd usb keys, but there's a few new ones here.

Sushi - I've just ordered a similar one, a 2gb SD Mini the size of my thumbnail, with an internal USB connector. I figure it'll live in my mobile phone, where I can pull it out whenever I need it, and not worry about loosing it.

It's one less thing to carry around if it can just become part of my mobile :)

I got two of these from woot a few months back. Pretty useful when I don't have a card reader.
