I couldn't find a thread for some updates about the availability of the Apple Watch at "The Corner" in Berlin, so I would like to start one here. Maybe we can share some experiences and updates on this location.

I was there at April, 24th, in the late afternoon, waited for about 2 hours, but the Apple Watch I wanted was not available (42mm SS, link bracelet). The guy put my name and my phone number on a list, saying the shop will call me when my model will be available for pick-up.

Two weeks later, I am still didn't get a call. I know there's practically not one Apple Watch with the link bracelet shipped to customers yet, but I am wondering if anyone has the same experience and is still waiting for (or already get) a call based on an entry on the list on launch day.

Not sure, how they handle it at the moment, but you don't hear much about The Corner on Twitter anymore.

I know the guys there and they have watches..just not the link bracelet.
They have sport watches and SS watches so maybe just go with a different model.

The link one will still take a while..

Thanks. That's what I heard so far from different sources.
Still patiently waiting for the Apple Watch with the link bracelet, and maybe I get one from The Corner earlier than from Apple directly (June).

Yes I know that thank you. But if you look at locations you'll see that they have three (3) different store locations. Can the Apple Watch be found in any of these three or just one of them?

Oh, sorry about that, didn't get it.

The Apple Watch is only available at "The Corner Berlin East" at Gendarmenmarkt. As far as I know.

Yes, only The Corner East is selling the Watch and only after you called and made an appointment. At least that was still the case a week ago. "Sadly" I bought the 38mm white sport version to quickly and realised it was just way to small at home. So know I'm waiting for the 42mm version, but due to the late order from Apple I'll have to wait until July or late June at least.

Thanks! That was the answer I was looking for.

Can they reserve or notify you of their stock? I mean if I were to travel to Berlin I wouldn't do it just for visiting. No offense. :)

You can just go there and buy one.
They have Apple staff. No reservations for come in and buying needed

I work across the street from where they have a small shipping and receiving office.

The amount of cardboard shipping boxes they are tossing out for Apple Watches is insane. Based just on that, I would assume they have a ton of inventory :)

This sounds like espionage movie. :p

Not true. Called them today and they told me that they still only allow entry with reservation. Next free appointment would be friday.

But can you reserve a watch by phone, or at least check if it's in stock?

I should have given this place a go as I work about 200 metres from this store yet I still have a "June" pre-order for a 42mm SG Sport.

I guess I can call on Monday but from you people that already called, what should I expect?

any news about "The Corner"? does anyone know about stock in-store?

Well, sorry to say, I wouldn't expect to get a watch at "The Corner" anytime soon. I am still waiting for a call regarding a reservation I made officially on April 24th. I was there two weeks ago asking if the reservation list still exist and did not get a clear answer. In my opinion they don't want to have "normal" customers there and have to deal with a lot of resellers as well. Just wait until you can make reservation for your watch at the local Apple Retail Store, which is a lot more trustworthy and pleasant to deal with. Should be possible in June.

Ohhh, very bad news!!! I can't understand that behavior...

Thanks

Well, from someone who stood in line on the 24th to get an AW Sport, i wouldn't be surprised if they forgot about / threw away / lost the list altogether. Yes, the dedicated apple staff AT the store was friendly and tried to help you out, but the staff IN the actual store seemed rather insulted that they had to sell to such lowborn People. Nothing compared to the retail staff in the official store at Kurfürstendamm. Still can't believe they chose the Corner store. Horrible buying experience (of a great product)!

It's a pity. I think Apple should monitor these 'fashion' stores, the horrible experience (as you said) goes against Apple.

That's a perfect summary, in every detail. Signed.
