The CW App
Giant news if you prefer to watch on the big(ger) screen! This fall, every show on The CW will be available on Roku, Chromecast, AirPlay, Apple TV, Xbox, and Amazon Fire TV. Don’t worry, it’s still free and there’s no logins and no subscriptions. It's the only place to stream CW shows like Supergirl, The Flash, Jane The Virgin, Arrow, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, iZombie, Supernatural, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, The 100 and The Originals.

HULU lost the ability to Stream Current CW Shows which I was using last year with my No Commercial Subscription to Hulu. Netflix will get the CW Shows immediately after the season ends. I may just wait if CW does not offer a No Commercial Option.

Damnit! When did that happen? I was using Hulu as my no commercials CW DVR

What's the catch?

I was thinking that as well. "The catch" will probably be the service will be sponsored by commercials. Which, in my opinion, depending on what is offered, I won't mind.

For example, if I can get a live stream from my local affiliate, day-and-date VOD, full seasons VOD as well as past seasons VOD I don't mind watching commercials. On the other hand, if the service is like what NBC offers then I sure won't be using it because NBC's ATV app offerings is pathetic. But this is all my opinion and what I'm willing to accept. As I see from some posters they won't accept any commercials, ever.

Did they say everywhere?

I suppose it's all down to interpretation, but they did say 'Available Everywhere' probably assuming that nobody outside of the US likes The CW Facebook page.

Funny thing is, the first thing that jumps out at me to explain the "everywhere" comment is all the platform icons.

Yeah, that graphic is a little ambiguous. Of course, I don't know why anyone would think this service would be available world-wide. That is just wishful thinking.

You will always get some that will assume it would indeed be worldwide.
Outside of the US wishful thinking is all anyone has when us comes to AppleTV as unless you buy anything from iTunes it's pretty much just a device to watch Netflix on.
