my assumption is that it is fully charged already. but i am not sure to be honest.

No, out for delivery message here. I think that UPS was overwhelmed and not "equipped" to handle such a large job. The tracking information from UPS was definitely lacking. One poster claimed to have gotten a call from UPS telling them what time their iPad would arrive. And this from a company that can't keep tracking information current
If their online tracking was accurate UPS could have prevented tons of calls from people with pre order deliveries asking when their would be be delivered Correction
Just called UPS International Shipping (800-782-7892)
And it's out for delivery
I still think the status should have been updated online

This attitude cracks me up. UPS seems to be killing it this morning, fulfilling a herculean task, and so many on this forum can't say anything nice about them? tsk tsk
From what I've read......it won't charge via USB from the computer if the screen is on.
The included wall adapter supposedly takes about 4 hours to charge it. From a USB cable on the computer it takes twice that....but I think the screen needs to be off.

this thing is DENSE... first impressions:
1. Super SUPER responseive
2. Deep rich colors
3. Very well built
4. Accelerometer seems more responsive than iphone (although might just be because of size? Aka, because it's bigger, i'm moving it slower, which makes reduces "delay"
5.Screen pixel density isn't as good as it could have been, you can easily see each pixel
6.Web browsing is ALMOST as fast as my desktop. REALLY like this.
OVERALL: I'm really happy with it, and will hopefully benefit greatly from multi-tasking in 4.0

yeah, it seems to me that they are getting it done. Sure, the tracking might have had something to be desired but it seems like they will do really well at this.
