It's not a surprise you're thinking of..

He literally says it's a surprise that has to do with the team domain. Derp.

I can tell you for a fact that enough vulnerabilities have been discovered in the right areas to mount a untethered jailbreak exploit in iOS 7.0 11A4372Q. Whether or not they will stay vulnerable before the iOS 7.0.0 GM comes out is another story... the vulnerabilities that were still around in 6.1.3 were patched - however - new ones were discovered within a few days of the iOS 7 beta going public.

I really hope they have something but not really holding my breath with P0sixninja.
Would be nice if there is some exploits and they are still there present when the 7.0GM is out.
As I said up there... there's enough vulnerabilities to successfully perform an untethered jailbreak on iOS 7.011A4372Q. Whether or not they will remain there is another point entirely.

Interesting.
So they said there is enough there for an untethered as it stands now on the 1st beta?
Not sure if its a good move or not to let Apple know so early.
It would be great if we can get an untethered userland JB for all devices on iOS 7.

This is being too polite. P0sixninja is a known liar when it comes to anyting connected to jailbreaks. His huge ego requires this.
He actually doesn't lie, he's just extremely sarcastic and people falsely take his sarcasm and facetiousness as the truth, then wind up complaining.

Problem is, everyone feels so desperate to have a jailbreak so he feeds off of it. Could it be to stroke his ego? Sure, but it's quite comical seeing all the rumor threads and "news" articles from various sites when they quote a clearly sarcastic tweet of his.

TL;DR: ermahgerd, P0sixninja twittered sumthin'. It murst bee der trooth!

It's my birthday today, please give me good news :)
the good news is you survived another year.

whatever the news is, do not expect anything until the final version drops. Why not just wait instead of speculating what it might be, if it is a JB, then I'm sure it will be released when it's ready..if it's something else...then again, I'm sure the time will come when we know what it is.

How could that be something from him? He just twitted today:

"Yes I promise I'll have time tomorrow to finally test my iOS exploits I hope"

If he didn't even tested anything on the new IOS, how the heck is this related to IOS 7?

I hope it's a bootrom exploit for the a5 and up. Or maybe a downgrade method so I can always go back to 6.1.2 on my 4S if I don't like iOS 7! :)

I would be more excited if there was a way to downgrade A5 devices. That would be a tremendous boon.

The Jailbreak Community
He has previously "announced" other breakthru's which have not come to fruition.

I remember when he ask everyone to send crash reports which was a completely lame idea and was of zero value (and lead to absolutely nothing).

We shall see .....

That said, my personal opinion is that iOS7 will be jailbroken by the known jailbreakers as a group (and p0sixninja might be or might not be part of that group for this firmware version)
