Well, for those of you who remember, I started a diet about 4 months ago. Well, as planned, I stuck to it.. and the change is dramatic to say the least!

To date, I've lost:

4 and a half stone
7 inches from my waist.

I started out at 18 and a half stone, standing at 6 feet, and a size 41 waist.

I'm now 14 stone, the same height :p and a 34" waist.

I still have another 2 stone to go (apparently) and LOTS of toning, but.. YAY ME! :D

That's some impressive diet! Did you just stop eating altogether?

Well done, anyway, however you did it. :)

:) A calorie limit of 800 per day, no more than 15g of fat, no snacking on anything but fruit after 7 pm, 2 litres of water a day. 250 calorie limit for each meal, then 50 left over for 'stuff'.

And an hour to an hour and a half of exercise per day -- no matter what.

Thanks, though. When I get internet access back at home, I'll post pictures. Somone I hadn't seen for 6 months didn't recognise me yesterday.

That's quite impressive, both in terms of the weight you've lost and your willpower for sticking with it – especially over Christmas. Well done and good luck carrying on the diet!

There's no chance of you posting one of those 'super slimmer' style pictures where you wear a pair of your old trousers and pull the waistband out, is there? ;)

Isn't it strange how I'm eating chocolate biscuits, when I suddenly come across your thread to make me feel bad? :p Last pack, I promise.

Um....I'll go to the gym tomorrow.

Congratulations. You lost a LOT of weight, and you really deserve to hear people tell you how great that is and provide you with further encouragement. :)

There surely is! Wait until I get internet access back, there jeans, tops, head shots.. everything. It's all going online to show off how hot I look (ok, maybe over confidence there but compared to before... yawza!)

:D

Your allowed, after all, the first 3 letters of your name does spell 'Abs'.

Thankins. I feel really proud of myself. A lots changed recently.. my driving test is booked, 2 months head of schedule, I lost more than double what I hoped weight-wise, My school work has just rocketed to a level beyond awesomeness (OK, maybe my vocab. hasn't) - but I just feel a lot happier with myself.

Just came across this thread by chance. 4.5 stone is about 28kg, I believe. "Wow!" My dream is more like 17kg, but even so it still seems like a dream. But 800 cals is well below the normal daily requirement (2500 for a man, 2000 for a woman I think). Did you not feel sick and giddy most of the time? I feel horrible when my blood sugar level (presumably) drops. Or do you get used to it? I know overeating is to some extent a habit and I know about the mechanics involved whereby you're full before your brain realizes it. But, still, 800 calories...

Any chance of pictures? It might give me more hope :)

CONGRATULATIONS!! You have every reason to be proud. All those things in your life have improved because you made it happen. I know how hard it can be. I stopped using the treadmill for 2 months and put all 25 lbs. I had lost back on. Starting again today.

Really, good for you.

Dang! That's an impressive weight loss! Keep up the good work!

That is awesome that you were able to lose that much in such a short of period of time by yourself.

There are very few people that I know that could lose that much weight without some sort of support like weight watchers or being in a medically supervised weight loss program...

the low calorie diet usually is below 1000 calories a day - and supposed to help you live longer, like those lab mice that were starved on a low cal diet.

but those people look emaciated and not something i would want to look like.

I'm glad you feel so happy :) I lost over 50 pounds yet it didn't make me feel any happier about myself but then I'm weird
