What is the difference between iCloud and iTunes Match?
so far the only thing i have noticed is that iTunes match only upgrades your music/files to a 256 bit rate. Other than that doesn't the iCloud do everything Match (music/video/app wise) can? Why pay 25$ a year for Match when you already have iCloud.

Sorry if this question has been answered already but i couldn't seem to find a summarized answer reading through all the threads.

iTunes Match will scan your music, match any music found and upgrade it to 256, and upload any other music you have manually (ripped, pirated, indie music that iTunes doesn't have).

iCloud will not sync anything, just let you download what you've purchased from iTunes. Match lets you sync music gotten from OUTSIDE of iTunes.
