when i put the disk in while running windows it says nothing about bootcamp? it says stuff for macbook air and i have a mac book pro.

i see "use this to reinstall osx and other software on your macbook air"

so im downloading bootcamp like you said and i guess we will see what happens. also why does my @ key not work where it should lol? the @ key is shown on the number 2 key, but when i do the shift press on it i get the " symbol and vice versa when i pres the " symbol i get the @ symbol lol does any one know why this happens?

You need to change the Windows keyboard layout. To do this in Windows 7, navigate to Start > Control Panel, then under "Clock, Language, and Region" click on "Change keyboards or other input methods". Then click on the "Change keyboards..." button and ensure that your default language is set to English.
