How do you make the dock transparent? i cant seem to figure it out?

It's not built-in to the OS; I use TransparentDock.

I almost mentioned it might not work in 10.4. Hopefully they'll update the app.

Try Windowshade X from Unsanity... They've updated their software for Tiger already...
