The Drummer feature

    does any other DAW have anything like Drummer in Logic and GB?

    Unfortunately not really.

    That said, there are many drummer plugins out there, such as Native Instruments Studio Drummer, Superior Drummer, EZDrummer, Addictive Drums etc.

    With that said, these don't do the "automatic drumming" magic that Logic Pro's Drummer feature does. They do however come with an absolute ton of loops which you can incorporate in your songs, and easy ways to edit them.

    In many ways, some way actually say this is superior as it gives you a better idea of what's going on, as opposed to Logic Pro's drummer which, whilst it works most of the time, can leave you in the dark when things don't quite work as expected.

    I have EZDrummer2 and BFD3 and both are great for really getting in for the finer editing.

    Drummer is very good for when you just want to lay down a very quick drum track. The good thing I like about Drummer is that you can convert to midi and then play that through another plug in and make any edits you want to there.
