I clicked on this thread thinking it was some sort of thread for people like me who have the original tangerine G3 iBook.:eek:

Was a little disappointed but it looks like you did a good job. Don't think I would dare do that myself.
 


You can get Leopard on G3's, (heck even 604's if you're dumb enough to try that) it just takes a little hacking of the install DVD.

yea but i personally do it mainly cause it would run slow but i dont have a g3 anymore so i can get it on my g4 which i have it on but emac since i got macbook with leopard...
 
I think I may just do this to my MacBook... If I ever get around to it, I will make a thread.

I can't believe I forgot that! I think I actually knew that at one point. Seriously. :p
 
Most of the g3 ibook cases are clear with white painted on the inside. I removed mine on the bottom part with the methylated spirits* and removed the metal interference shield and you could see the circuit boards which could look cool with the orange.

Also I think it would look cool with a red dyed keyboard the white doesn't seem to look quite right, to me anyway.:D
