Clearly there had to be a constant disagreement on design at Apple with Forstall behind the wheel. It was obvious that everyone at Apple have been itching for these changes to take place.

Same here. I love how you really have to pull down the screen to get to it. No more accidental swipes

You have to wonder what Forstall would think of the crowd giving a standing ovation after Ive's design video was shown. I think even Cook was a bit taken back/surprised when people in the audience stood up.
