Ok we all know Apple has a set default size and position for the Finder. If you delete all the DS_Store files and then open Finder it reverts from any size and position you manually set it back to a default size and position. I and I think many would say that Apple's default size is too small. It can be and is annoying resizing every Finder/folder window to the size you want. Has anyone discovered how to change Apple's default size for Finder yet?

No.

Finder windows have not worked like you want since OS9.

The best thing to do is get over it and give up. Use the green button, and just accept it for what it is.
