OMG, how will we ever survive?
my favorite line:
"The iPhone itself looks well built (almost like it's made in Germany)"
Lmao, this is some sort of parody? Hmm.
It doesn't seem legit to me. But maybe it is? After all it looks like they have only done 1 review..
It's probably fake. And about German built - for those who dont know that United States are not the world, Germans are famous for well built quality products. Like cars.
Let's assume it is real. Did anybody get pictures that supposedly existed that were forced to be removed my Apple legal?
Yeah, I keep a set in my wallet to show to friends.
Really? Did you have to take a fake article about the iPhone and twist it into an attack on Americans?
I'm American and I know very well that Germans are known for quality craftsmanship...
Seriously, some MacRumors posters seem enlightened yet love to stereotype Americans.
He isn't attacking the states...Have you ever seen talking with americans?
I am not (US) American, but I agree with you.
But, that's a price you have to pay to be an American. Why would anybody make fun about Burundi or Mongolia
Admit it, USA has stereotype about Canadians
Haha well I'm technically Canadian, too. <We walk amongst you>
I wanna know wtf a bluetooth cable is, how they know it doesnt support java without the internet browser installed on theirs, and why anyone would think this is legit. I could do a better fake in 20 minutes.
maybe an hour
Ridiculous site. No other reviews, bad spelling in many places - this is a goof. Site was created on 14th of May at 15:56:56 UTC via GoDaddy to someone out of Etobicoke, Ontario. Their registration email is "firstname.lastname@example.org", which is listed as "Parody and Entertainment Hosting" at http://bigmonkey.biz . I won't mention phone numbers...
You be the judge...
"bluetooth cable" = oxymoron
you know why its called CANADA?..... C eh N eh D eh
hehe, an old canadian told me that one
A non-removable SIM card? iPhunes? Oh pleeease...
i'm thinking it's a joke....
"One annoyance is that Apple implemented basically the same authentication model on the iPhone as it is on desktop Macs. What it means is that any activity requiring root permission will result in user being prompted for a password. It is really annoying to enter password whenever trying to make a call to anybody named Steve or send any email inquiring about jobs..."
The review refers to a bluetooth cable and a bluetooth connector port??
What the heck is he talking about?
Clearly a fake.
All had sore throats?
And as if welding a simcard would work. Simcards are made from plastic.
Load of bollocks.
*Picture of bollocks removed at MacRumors legal dept request*
Seems like a joke (the root permission to call Steve part) by a Chinese guy (the way the sentences are put together) living in Canada (the site registration).
Well, if that turns out to be true then this will so not take off in Europe..
Even if it were affixed to the circuit board, it wouldn't be welded. It would be soldered. A weld would pretty much melt every component in there.
I was skeptical up until the point about the ATI graphics chip and the unused HDMI connector in there. After that, it was all downhill.
after world war 2, the german army demilitarized. thus, germany's best engineers went on to design world-class products instead of designing world-class weapons. this partially explains germany's dominance in precision products, and why their shiz cost so much.
