    Wow! How soon can I buy one of these at Wal-Mart?

    It was a great flight and a smooth landing. What was he saying after he landed? I understood only the sound effect he made. :)

    And it says the next prototype will be capable of vertical movement and take-off.

    That shows how far aviation has come. The rush that guy must have felt combined with the speed and control would have been amazing. It will be interesting to see how this project progresses.

    It says on the page: Moby's "Play"

    EDIT: Okay, following the Amazon link, it looks like that's the album, not the song. Oh well.

    The song is "Natural Blues" from the album Play by Moby. The jet pack looks quite cool indeed.

    Wild stuff, but probably a one-off stunt. People have been playing around with strapping jet packs onto people for a long time.

    Looks heavy.

    I'd feel more comfortable if it released and had its own chute.
