None of that... yet. Not until I have enough money. A good fur suit is upwards of 6k... I'm just a college student
Could you not make one yourself? I'm sure there's plenty of other furries online that could give you all the necessary tips on how to do snouts and paws etc.

I suppose I could do that... It would take a while, but very pawsable!

Your post is really informative. Can you tell me about Furry? Thanks

A good place to start learning about Furries would be these two links:

http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Furry_fandom

There is a whole lot of info out there to find!

My cousin is into LARPing. He's Head Elf or something and has a rubber sword.

I also LARP, but I don't do rubber swords. My sword, "Everliving Night", is tempered carbon spring steel, perfectly balanced with a 49", double-edged blade, razor sharp. I use a whetstone on it 3 times during a session and once before oiling and storing it until the next game. It can cut through even the thickest chain mail (think those gloves butchers use) as if it were butter.

The more I participate in events though, the less and less get organised around here. I have to travel farther and farther to even find fellow LARPers. I wonder why.

Yeah, but I think my cousin does spells and stuff as well...

So do I, but I don't do as much anymore. Propane costs are really cutting into my budget when I want to start spamming Fireballs. Not to mention finding materials and installing the devices required to generate electrical arcs for Lightning Bolt.

Look at what you've created, Disney

Also, I'm glad someone else thought of that CSI episode lol. That was the first thing that came to mind when I read the title of this thread.

What's Disney got to do with it? lol Furries and anthropomorphic animals have been around for centuries, even if they weren't called that...

But I must say, while this thread has yet to turn up a Furry (here's still hoping), I am pleased with the amount of responses and general positiveness... Thanks all!

I don't have a fur suit, but if I had the cash for one and a bit more bottle I'd love to go to a furcon in a fursuit. Does that make me a furry?! :D

I'm on Second Life and own a partial fursuit. Of course keeping mesh planes in SL grounded, until some RC Server sims are converted to Main Server sims.

Keep an open mind. Many people shun furries and think of them as deviants. It's pretty cruel.

Yup. I think most of the hate against us furries is because of that CSI episode. Of course the adult stuff doesn't help much as well. Kinda ironic that other fandoms get a free pass on their rule 34,while furry gets hate and shunned for it. Hopefully one day furry will get the same respect that other fandoms have.
