The future of cryptocurrency mining with Arm

This build seems to be doing 2.2Mh though I notice it is still using OpenCL and not Metal where I would assume the rate would be higher.

Apple Silicon might be bad, never terrible, but thought the hardware, the architecture is yet to be discovered by miners, just a matter of time.
But being optimistic, I don't think will repeat what happened with GPUs because crypto has lost some trust, and than we might have a drop in prices due to popularity.

Right now, M1 is a gadget for enthusiasts or to invest some money in development.

Then Bitcoin comes along immediately after with a decentralized mining game and the same people involved and again the mining is monopolized in China.

You will damage your laptop doing this sustained nonsense. Apple will look at the logs and tell send you home with no replacement or refund. You can’t delete certain hardware logs and forensic hardware analysis will show what you were doing.
