I'm just estimating, but I'll correct it again :O

I agree that it's good to experiment, but there is talk that they are going to drop the entire filesystem. You wouldn't be able to access the files directly, you'd have to access them through 'app'lications.

In regards to this post, "Novice" computer users are those who wouldn't notice things like the Library folder being hidden. People who use their Mac for email, web browsing, and other basic tasks.

Professionals are those who know what their computer can do and harness it. They rely on the computers for day to day life. This also includes 'power users'.

Leave you alone, nah! You're even more useless at maths than me, I didn't think was possible.
As a computer-user 14-hours a day since 1984, I guess I'm not a Novice.
But if a Professional is defined by searching the www and using forums like this for solutions to MacProblems, count me out, life's too short.
 
What to say? I haven't slept for three days. Stupid job keeping me up :mad:. I really hope this doesn't happen. I love Apple and would hate to switch because it no longer offers the features I need. But then again, I can't use an operating system that's three or four generations old either...

I asked myself the same question the other day; then I tried Window's 'find', after 20 mins it was till churning away.
Spotlight is real-time. No contest?
