I reformatted my computer and reinstalled OS X. When I connected my iPad, iTunes pops up as normal. However, when it says that my iPad can only be synced with one computer 🙂p), I told it to transfer purchases. However, it only transfers my books (???) but not my apps.

Now I want to sync some movies into my iPad, but I don't want to because it will mean iTunes will erase all of my apps.

What the ****?

Make sure you authorized the computer.

If you did, deauthorize and then reauthorize.

Also, I’m assuming you right clicked on the iPad to transfer purchases.

Authorized/deauthorized and same result.

However, when I right-clicked and clicked transfer purchases. that worked. Why didn't it work when it asked in the dialog?

Issue resolved. Thanks!

I ****ing hate iTunes.

Glad I added the right click stuff and didn’t assume you did that.

I’m not sure what dialog you are referring to. I always just right click and transfer to be sure. It’s said that if you just sync, it’ll get transferred, but I always just do the transfer way to make sure.
