I gave a homeless guy two pounds of good deli meat I had gotten from a deli I used to work at. The guy was eating paper out of a trash can, so I gave him my meat. (Sliced buffalo chicken breast).

The guy looked at me like I was more nuts than him. (We've got soup kitchens for them here). I handed him the meat and he started going nuts on it. Poor guy...

I donated £10
I enjoy my phone alot better with the jailbreak so I donated right away. They deserve it with all the work they put in.

That would have helped fund his drug addiction. Well done.

Nothing like a $1 bag of the good'ol H lol

You gave him your meat and he went to town on it lol hope you gave him the $10 afterwards haha

On Reddit PlanetBeing laughed at someone's estimate that they'd brought in $700k, saying, and I quote "not even remotely, remotely close."

That made me a bit sad. To me, $700k seems pretty reasonable for what they've done.

If only 10% gave a dollar...

Translation:

I require everyone to know that I am better than the general population of people who do not donate, and am therefore a better human being than you.

and how much did you donate? or did you just free ride off someone's weeks, if not months, of work and smirk on and dismiss people who actually donate to use the product to show a bit of due appreciation? what do you do that's so great? cause from where i'm sitting, a loudmouth who put his money where his mouth is is doing a heck of a lot better than a loud mouth with an empty hand.

if you did donate, good for you, if not, sit down.

They should charge £2 for everyone
Didn't they hit 7million downloads in the first week ?

Seems its a very small percentage that donate if the figures above are right.

And to be honest I totally forgot about donating till I read this. I kinda got caught up in the rush of jalbreaking/customizing my phone and it was a nice reminder that I should pay for the things I took

Same here. I finally donated after seeing this thread. I suffered with an iPhone 4 with a smashed screen for 4 months waiting for this jailbreak, and bought an iPhone 5 the same day...well worth a 20-spot!

Pay up, you cheap bastards. :p

I donated $5 and plan to donate more later on.

Like last time a jailbreak was released (absinthe), I donated $100 to this evasi0n developer team upon the first release, as I want to help the cause with hopes these and other talented individuals will continue to free my phones in the future...

$20

and today i just donated $5 to activator, since i realized i had never done so, and i use it all the time.

I prefer to donate rather than buying. I donated $60 to evasi0n and $3 to Swipenav. I don't like when people impose prices in small tweaks, I prefer to recognise the work and donate.
