""We believe the slowdown (in the March quarter) can be attributed primarily to the absence of any upgrades of Mac models during the quarter, which has typically been a catalyst for shipment growth," Wolf wrote in a note to investors on Thursday. "However, we expect Apple to upgrade both the iMac and MacBooks in June, in advance of the back-to-school buying season."

Well, all hopes of an iMac update at WWDC are dashed. Does anyone have any idea when the 2012 iMac update might come? I'm this close to saying "screw it" and just buying the 2011, they're so dang late with the update. (But I know they'll release the update the second I do.)
I don't know but i feel the exact same way. Im so eager to buy my first mac so don't know what to do now :/

i recon it will be when ML comes out thats my window if its not out then and its going to be next year im going to buy the current model !

A friend of mine ( long long time apple user ) bought a New Sony vaio l series And i must say i'm very impressed 24" touchscreen with good specs for 1299 USD and even a higher model with 3D touch and tv.

Dell is now also selling a iMac look a like.
And imo Apple should not leave customers in The dark especially with The long update cycle of 414 days today and now is The time to make an exception of no comments of future models policy and inform. Because otherwise customers may shift to look beyond The Apple horizon.
Me : i'll wait a little longer Because i Will never Buy à 2011 model when a upgrade is just around The corner. And when i have to Buy a New desktop i'm afraid It Will Be à Sony then.
But i hope It Will not have to go That far.
