So my post got nuked off here so I'll say it again.

Mods it's time to unsticky this thread. We really don't need a topic on iPhones shipping MONTHS after release.

What's the problem? People are just getting their phones and there is still excitement for them. Its new for them. Let it be. It's a non issue.

Isn't it tradition anyways to keep this sticky until the new phone comes out that can take its place?

Picked mine up yesterday @ AT&T and it came with 8.1.2 and immediately jailbroke it last night ;)

I think the odds are with you that you'll get a jailbreakable version. Hope you do!

I recently ordered a 6 Plus / Space Gray / 64 GB. Upgrading from a 5 / Slate / 64 GB. I can't wait to get hands on my new big-screened phone!

I've been using a leather sleeve case with my iPhone 5. I've been considering a similar case for the 6 Plus, have any of you used a sleeve with it? With iPhone 5 I love my sleeve, it's small and manuverable and protects my phone well while I'm carrying it in my pocket/bag. But I'm thinking will the 6 Plus be too big to use with a sleeve, is it going to feel clumsy? I've also considered Apple's beautiful leather case, but I prefer using my phone naked and it doesn't protect the screen.

Any experiences with upgrading from 5 to 6 Plus, how huge the screen / phone feels? I'm certainly going to love the extra screen real estate, I'm using my phone a lot for reading news and browsing the web.

coming from iPhone 5 to iPhone 6 and only having it less than a week I'll say it felt clumsy to hold the first few days. The entire first day I felt I was going to drop it. Almost a week into it I feel more secure with it. I bought a wallet case that makes me feel more protected when I'm out and about. I also bought Apple's leather case which I'm using when I'm at home. Boy, that helps greatly. Its a really nice, thin but durable case. That extra grip feeling that the leather gives more comfort when handling the phone than say without a case of any kind. I don't think I could use this phone with just a sleeve.

The screen difference is incredible from the 5 to 6+. Only after playing with the 6+ for 10 minutes going back to the 5 was like going back to the 4. LOL The screen difference is much more appreciative than I ever realize it would be.

Thanks for sharing your experiences! The bigger screen is certainly what I'm mostly looking forward to. I don't own an iPad and I carry my phone everywhere so I think it will make a big difference. I also wear glasses and I think the bigger screen is going to be better for reading and watching videos. I think I'll use it for a while without a case and then decide if I'm taking a sleeve or the leather case by Apple.

I was asked how I got my iPhone 6+ very quickly after ordering. Here is why: I tried to order the phone when it came out over the apple site. I was told I could not buy it because I was an AT&T business customer. I thought I would go to the AT&T store in my local mall the next day when they opened. I did that and no one was there. I was first in line and ordered it then. I suspect that each store has a certain number of phones allotted to them and that my store was pretty unpopular so, since I was first in line, I got the first of the few phones they got. Moral of the story: be the first in line at an unpopular store and buy it there.

Just ordered (online) a Gold 64GB 6+ (Unlocked) for the wifey...

We have been using Samsung/Android for the last ~2 years and honestly - we couldn't wait to come back to iOS...no real reason I guess, its just the way we like things and the way we use them..we have so much Apple stuff in the house (3 iPads, Mac mini, iMac)...and I'll be buying a 6+ 64GB Space Gray for myself in the next couple months as well...good times.

Just got a 16gb AT&T 6 plus...just checking it out, still using my 5s.

MODS, it's time to unstick this thread...seriously, this is old news.

Just got my gold 6+ delivered. Restoring from iCloud crashed so I had to erase all settings so I could try again.

I can't use Apple Pay because my bank doesn't support it yet and my AMEX debit card is also not supported. :(

Received my iPhone 6 space gray back on December 5th 2014. Came with iOS 8.1. I have 3 cases and waiting for my official black leather Apple case to arrive Monday.

I came from using blackberry and Android the last 6yrs and I just wanted something different. iOS is very refreshing.

Hi All, received my iPhone 6 64gb Space Grey on 23rd Feb. Upon restoring my iPhone 4S backup over the new iPhone i figured that whatsapp and other messenger apps (Viber, Facebook messenger, etc) were not notifying me of new messages. It was only after re-installing those apps that the notifications resumed to occur as should normally (Visual & Audio), otherwise, the notifications were only Audio after opening the apps.

Just though of putting up this information to help.

Have had my SG iP6 since Dec 23, just over two months. It's easily my favorite upgrade. Better than 4S to 5S. I used to always say I didn't want a bigger screen and that I was fine with 3.5-4" but I LOVE the size of the 6. 4.7" is the ultimate sweet spot for a smart phone.

Switched from Galaxy s5 to SG 6+ 64GB

Hey all,

Finally eligible to upgrade my verizon line from a Galaxy S5 to the SG iPhone 6+ 64GB. I haven't played with iOS since my old iPod touch from 2011. It is a really nice phone and its so beautifully designed. Feels so much more premium than my s5 though I don't know how it would compare to the newly announced S6 and S6 edge. Overall I am pretty stoked to have this phone and hopefully the new iPhone 7 do not disappoint either!!!! :):):):):apple:

I got my iPhone 6 64gb about 5 weeks ago and love it! My first iPhone, but I have been a Mac user a few years now... I'm new to this forum, so this is my first post....

I just bought my 6 on Wednesday and I'm loving it so far! Took me a while to get it set up just the way I like it ie different settings for improved battery life, gmail, syncing contacts etc I've been using Android for the past 2 years and it takes some getting used to but I'm loving it :)

iPhone 6 user since launch day and I just switched to the 6 Plus a couple of days ago. It's a piece of work this 6 Plus. But I feel like I had to use the 6 before I could really appreciate the 6 Plus.

Ordered my iPhone 6 from Three UK on Friday, to be delivered to store on Tuesday. So excited!
