"the imap server smtp.aol.com is not responding?'

    Hello to all

    I'm presently on a trip and having been using WiFi, which works fine.

    Yesterday, the message in the title of this post started popping up while checking Aol mail with the Mail app.

    I've already deleted and re-entered my two Aol accounts, but with no luck.

    Why has this occurred? Solution?

    I sometimes can't send email from the Mail app to Yahoo Mail. Every time, if I close all apps on the multi-tasking bar and do a restart, the mail will be sent successfully as soon as the iPad restarts.

    Thanks...this has worked in the past for me as well...

    But unfortunately, not this time....

    This has become more of an issue with iOS 5. I believe it is a memory issue. I hope it will be resolved with an update.
