I don’t think this should be much of a surprise, you pretty much need to replace the whole rear or the phone and so remove all the internals.

Ok this just convinced me to put my case back on. AppleCare is so overpriced at $150 and then to pay another $99, which now totals $250. I have faith Apple hardware will last past two years anyway.

Thank the wireless charge people..only reason why there a glass back to that phone is for wireless charge.

It was a feature that I could do without. But it's not the only thing you have to worry about the the 8.
