I browse a good many sites per day and I pinch zoom in on things constantly. After a few sites of zooming on the ipad, it starts ignoring the zoom and snaps back. If I double tap to zoom then pinch zoom, it works again. reluanching safari fixes this issue for a short while. It's a small thing but it's aggrevating.

For me, load a page like www.theverge.com then zoom in by reverse pinch. Sometimes it stays zoomed but most times it will revert as soon as you pull your fingers away. It will usually start happening after about 5 min of browsing and a few different web sites.
still no. never suffered this. i would suggest maybe crappy backend code in the site which is conflicting?
For me, on the iPad Pro, double tap to zoom doesn't work on MacRumors. Pinch to zoom works, though. Haven't noticed any other sites with this problem. I haven't tried the verge in a while. Maybe I'll try later and see what happens.
Both methods just worked for me here on Macrumors. Where I normally have trouble is GoComics.com. Bloom County in particular.
I use my iPP hours each day and have had little problems with this feature. All works good for me but I am not on any beta.
