I had the XS Max and 11 Pro Max, and picked up the 12 Pro Max on Saturday, but didn't like the size. I was on the fence when I got the 11pm, but it felt the same as the xsm so I went with it.

There seems to be a divide on the latest model, some like the feel in hand better, some find it to feel much larger; too big.

I'm part of the latter group. Yesterday I exchanged it for a 12 pro, and I couldn't be happier. Personally, I thought about my usage, and noticed that certain apps like notes and news don't really take advantage of the extra space. Most don't I would say. I also tend to reduce text size to the minimum so I can fit as much info as I can on the screen.

I suppose it'd be better for watching video but I barely do that, I prefer to do that on my OLED TV.

This 12 pro feels amazing to me. I don't think I've ever had an iPhone feel so ideally suited to me, size wise.

You'll have to try it out somewhere somehow to see if you like it.

Coming from 11PM I didn’t find the 12 PM too big. Yes it’s bigger.
I’ve been using plus sized phones since the rose gold first came out. If you are used to the max models you should mostly be fine with the size this year. :)

I feel like as long as you have a triple cam you’re good to go.

I feel like an iPhone is judged by the quality of the camera and from what I’m hearing this year it’s not a mega upgrade

Maybe some of y’all who came from the iPhone 11 Pro Max can chime in

I have the 12 max because I have to have the latest and greatest. Other than the form factor, the differences are minimal. They are both big and heavy though. If anyone says its a difference enough to choose one over the other, they're nit picking.

Have had the 12PM for a week now and I think I still prefer the 11PM

I like the 6.5" screen size of the 11PM and I know there is only 2g weight difference but the 12PM feels alot heavier, I can't work out why.

Another niggling thought is you can get the 11PM at almost half price of the 12PM on the used market and some comes with the balance of applecare+.

Il give it a few more days then decide what to do.

Yeah for me when I came from the Xs Max to 11 Pro Max I remember how limiting the Xs Max camera was due to its lack of Ultra Wide Angle camera versus the Huawei P30 Pro I had, so the move to the 11 Pro Max was worth it for that 3 camera (the Ultra Wide Angle).

I think in terms of number of cameras this is as good as it gets for iPhone and we will probably see the 12 Pro Max Camera setup (Large main camera with sensor shift, Ultra wide Angle, Telephoto and LiDAR) simply being improved over the next few generations.

The one thing that’s super compelling to me is the improved selfie camera

I don’t take as many as I used to, but still if I need to upgrade for that in the future, I definitely will

the new selfie camera looks LEGIT

Absolutely, the difference is so minimal
