This is a bug that has been bugging me and still hasn't been fixed. While installing Apps, I usually would just set my phone down and let it finish the download so that way I can play with the apps later when they're finished.

Another is when a video is buffering...


Instead the iPhone still goes to sleep at it's predetermined time and the activity that it was supposed to do STOPS! :mad:
 
Settings > General > Auto-Lock > Never

Problem solved :rolleyes:

Your iPhone can be asleep and apps will still download. Thats how Newsstand works or the new App sync. I download an app on my iPad and it's on my iPhone or vice versa. Pretty sure neither device magically wakes themselves up and downloads it.
 
I thought sleep didn't interrupt app/whatever else that's downloading. I mean, I've never ran into that issue.
