People beware of the-iphone-unlock.com is a Scam. I paid close to 50 dollars for lifetime access membership, trying to find an easy way to unlock my Iphone. The thing is that they say that they could unlock the 3g iphone whith the 2.2.1 firmware, once I paid went in and bOOm, "Unlock will NOT work with the baseband version (02.30.03)". Tried getting a refund or getting support and after 3 weeks I am still waiting for an answer.
I know it is my fault for trying to get things the easy way, but I just want to let people know that IT IS A SCAM!
The worst part is that they advertise in MacRumors Forums!

Thanks I know, the problem was that my phone was updated to the 2.2.1 firmware and with the updated baseband. If you go to their web they say that they will unlock any iphone and once you have paid they tell you that it can not be done if the baseband has been updated.

Anyway I just want people to know that it is a scam and not to fall for it.

Thank you again!

Did you pay with a credit card? File a chargeback.
Did you pay with PayPal? Contest the charge.

Did you pay through some other means? Now you know better. ;)

Yes I did use Pay Pal, put a complaint and the answer was:

"the claims process only applies to the shipment of goods. It does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods received".

So using paypal is not a guarantee either!

Scam

The site is a scam. They do not even include all the files for jailbreaking and will not answer back inquiries. I only tried the 7 day version because I was sceptical.
