The iPhone X store hunter’s thread

Haven’t seen a thread for the people (like myself) who are attempting to hunt down X’s in stores. Checked Apple app at 6AM today but still none in stock in my area (Austin). I have the day to search... where do you think my best bet is at?

i'd try target, walmart, verizon stores, etc...

Not sure about other places but keep checking the Apple Store app every morning starting as early as 5am. They go quick.

Yes, however, for my area it just shows Apple stores (2.) I’m curious if other stores like carriers, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, etc. will be getting others in today.

I did- through verizon- it never shipped then they cancelled my order for ‘unknown reasons’ . Couldn’t get an answer out of them.

To the OP. Now that you can reserve for pick up with Apple my best suggestion would to be to wake up around 450am EST and refresh for “ in store availability “ and snag one up as soon as you see one within your area.

Check the istocknow website regularly. They get shipments in all day.

I walked into Target randomly and got one. Was pretty surprised. They had both 64GB models.

I basically did that with Verizon. I ordered online, with local pickup and the store down the street from my office had them in stock

I see people saying 4:50am/5am but as a prior Apple specialist we were always instructed to tell people to check at 6am EST. Also, if there were none available Saturday, there’s likely to be none available until Tuesday. There’s no shipments on Saturday nights or Sundays. Shipments do come in Monday afternoons and they will become available online same day sometimes.
