Had a thread going on the MacBook Air forum, but I'm finding these issues to be common in OS X in general. A daily occurrence on my 2014 iMac at home, and my 2014 MacMini at work. Hope the new Apple iCar doesn't have the same problems! 😛

Unfortunately not. Last Macs to be downgradable were rMBPs released in July 2014.
