The lack of iPhone tehtering makes me a sad panda

The lack of the ability to tether is a weakness of the iPhone and now, the iPad. Luckily, I use WIFI for the most part.
 
Not in the UK it's not. Will be interested who's running the data contracts over here: I already pay o2 for tethering via my iphone, would definitely switch it to ipad if they give the option.
