What changed on the MacBook Pro's the last time they had a silent update?

I'm wanting to get and idea of what kind of updates they do if not in keynotes or events. I know there are a lot of threads on the "updates" but this is really not only linked to the currently awaited updates, I just want to know for future knowledge.

The last update was the product realignment; the 13" unibody Macbook became the 13" Macbook Pro and there were general spec bumps.
