You have to mail away for it and it takes up to 2 weeks. What the hell good is that going to do you when you break your screen protector? You’re forced to either go unprotected for two weeks or buy a new one. That really pisses me off.

Depends on which ones you buy. Bought these and never had any issues claiming replacements:

Email their support, they will either mail out replacements (from China) or they give you a 99% off code for Amazon. Easy enough. I do the 99% off Amazon option, I've made warranty claims a couple of times and never had a problem. I also don't wait until I'm on my last protector to order either.

I had an excellent experience after the techies at the Apple Store destroyed my screen protector. There was a little kiosk a short walk away. They happened to sell the same screen protector (Zagg) that had been wrecked. I was in their system. 5 minutes and $5.00 later, I had a professionally installed screen protector. Very happy customer.

Agreed.

I bought an expensive Belkin glass protector when I purchased my 11 Pro Max. Cracked after a month, and progressively got worse. Trying to contact Customer service, then trying to send it in, etc. didn't seem worth it, so I ended up just going to Best Buy and finding a good more-reasonably-priced glass screen protector. Only thing that I don't like about my new one is that it's a smudge magnet.

If my new one cracks, I'm ditching tempered glass protectors for good. I've been using smartphones since the Samsung Omnia, and iPhones since the 3GS. I've never used screen protectors before and have never cracked a screen in my life.

That's why you dont be a sucker and pay $50 for 50 cents worth of tempered glass. They are no better or worse than the off brands or ones from Ali Express. Tempered glass is tempered glass.

Never had any issues with the off brand ones that are like 3 for $8 on amazon. EVEN IF you replaced a cheap one every few months just because you are a fraction of the cost.

Ive had the same generic Amazon one on since the 11 pro max was released and still going strong. If it broke or chipped I have 2 more in the pack too.

And these cover the full screen with the earpiece cutout, not the notch type, so you cant even tell its on there really.

Entirely disagree. Some screen protectors don’t adhere as well and sometimes aren’t as smooth.

This.

I've gone through many cheap Amazon/eBay protectors and they're good! But once you start getting into reputable name brands like Belkin/ZAGG/etc--there's a tiny bump in quality all around (ie: clarity between the screen and your eyes is a bit clearer/sharper, less finger prints, smoother and overall easy to clean even months later).

One thing I've noticed with most cheap ones is the greasiness of some of them to the point where they almost look "foggy" unless it's wiped.

You’re leaving out by FAR the most important advantage - much better touch screen sensitivity.

I've had good experience with Tech Armor. I just send them a picture of the cracked screen protector and they'll send a new one.
