This thread is in no way intended to complain about or flame the iPhone. It is solely to create a list of features that are unfortunately absent. And yes, Jailbreaking does cater to a lot of the things that will be posted in this thread. But this is directed at the the way Apple designed the OS and what it still needs that we can only hope to see in the future from them. That said, please keep it mature, serious, and unbiased.

There are plenty I can name, but I'll start with one: I miss being able to cancel a text after I've sent it.

I wish I could use it to buy stuff while roaming the "real world." And I'd like to replace all my keys with it.

1. I know steve jobs said that Printing is coming to the iPad, but I hope it comes to the iPhone as well.

2. A better maps application with turn-by-turn Navigation.

WiFi Hotspot
Google Goggles/Navigation/Voice natively
External hard drive storage

Without having to JB my iPhone 4, I wish I could hide my unused icons the way I could on my old Blackberries.

wifi hotspot
swype built in to email and texting
google goggles
google navigation
tv out (display iphone on external display)
HD out
Ability to change way to unlock
Radio
visualizer in ipod
widgets
better notifications

Widgets, a better lock screen, and better notifications.

If I had to pick only three things, these would be it.

Right now, these three things are the primary reason I jailbreak.

Wifi Tethering would be cool, but I can take it or leave it. More fine-grain control of sounds would be nice too. But the top three first.
