The lumps! Oh dear God! They're white and hurt!

Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?
I'm getting sick. I could feel it since this morning. In the back of my mouth, entering my throat I can see tiny white lumps. They are not on the dangly little thing, but they're in numbers. I can hock up all the phlegm I want, but my throat still feels funny, and it's annoying to swallow. I have a little bit of a headache and no runny nose.

DEAR GOD! AM I DYING?! Anyone think they know? I've searched the net but all answers don't sound right.

Strep throat, my friend. sorry your sick :eek: Go to the Dr. and get an antibiotic and drink plenty of fluids.
 
Yeah.. sounds a little like Strep. Go to the doc, he'll swab your throat (hope that gag reflex isn't too strong..), test it, give you some pills and you'll be on your way.

I used to get it every year for 4 or 5 years.. it sucks but, it's better than some other things you could get.
 
You've got Strep-throat.

It's gonna hurt and it's gonna suck. Means that you're whole system is under some nasty stress and everything's just going to be attacking you.

Go to the doctor as soon as you can, like now. Tomorrow at the latest, you'll want to get onto the meds as soon as possible.

Ya poor bugger, that sucks.

Well, it's a good thing I finally got health insurance... ****.

I don't have much cash. Hope the copay is only 15 bucks or I'm screwed.

Oni, make sure you start antibiotics within 9 days of the symptoms. You sure don't want complications to set in like rheumatic fever. Get well.
 
vitamins, rest, and antibiotics will help.

lots of fluids. pepsi always helped me personally. or ginger ale.

take it easy the next couple of days and get to the doc asap.

That doesn't sound good. *sigh* Off to the doctor tomorrow then. I've taken so much time off from work recently. GAH! Funny thing is, my health insurance just kicked in. Didn't have any for three years...

I just got over strep and tonsillitis.

Smoothies were my friend. I got to know the Jamba Juice guys real well :).

Rest, rest, and more rest.
I use my [cure-all Green Tea], Water, Orange Juice, and Apple Juice (whichever I'm in the mood-for. Drink lots and lots of liquids (don't over-do it) because that's the quickest way to get better.

Good luck with that Onizuka, nuclear warfare can be quite dangerous. Do be careful. ;) :)


I am sure that the doctor can give you some pretty potent stuff. :)

Cures for a bad sore throat:

1. Rum
2. Rum
3. Lemsip
4. Lemsip with rum.
5. Rum.
 
Going with the alcohol theme, I reckon vodka's the way to go. A quick shot of vodka can clear up almost any ailment, except for maybe broken legs and/or brain damage.
