I was a big Fitness+ user until they broke the core functionality in tvOS 18. It was at that point they added the enhanced audio modes to help make speech louder when watching movies and TV shows. But that feature is not available on apps that don't support it like BBC iplayer and Disney+. The problem with Fitness+ it does not support the enhanced audio feature but it is still active. So you end up with audio that sounds like the instructor is underwater and the audio is massively out of sync. Now fitness+ has always had its own audio settings allowing the user to make the instructor or the music the main audio focus. Worked fantastic until tvOS 18 then it all went to s**t. During every beta I sent in feedback about the issue and it was ignored. I thought ok it's my TV speakers so I use my AirPods now and it still does it.

So the feature where you create a custom plan. It allows you to run workouts one after the other on selected days. The first workout on any given day works fine, the 2nd or 3rd workout has major sync and audio performance issues. Try it out on any Apple TV with the enhanced audio on and you see what I mean.

You have to remember to manually turn off enhanced audio before you start any workout or start a custom plan for that day. If you forget to turn off the enhanced audio you have to force close the fitness+ app and restart it before you start the 2nd and again for a 3rd workout in a day. I got so frustrated with it I stopped using it and it's a nightmare to get it working correctly again.

I wish it would just work like it did in tvOS 17. It was perfect and fun to use. I love the cycling workouts, the instructors are enthusiastic and the music is great at pushing you through the hard times. I got the cadence sensors for my bike to track the RPM's and it worked brilliant. I also used it in the gym for treadmill & Rowing workouts on my iPhone. I use strength training workouts at home with my own weights and I even tied a dance workout once but I looked like a total idiot so once was enough but I have to admit it was fun!

Enough is Enough it's time for Tim Cook to Steep Down and hand the Helm to a Steve Jobs type.

I don’t care what famous Japanese designer created this ridiculous accessory… it’s a friggin SOCK that Apple is charging $229 for. I love Apple devices. I have an iPhone Pro Max, and as an artist, the iPad Pro is the single best tech product ever created in my opinion. So I gladly pay a premium for them. However, I never buy Apple cases on principle because of the inflated prices. You can get identical iphone & iPad cases on Amazon for a tenth of the price. But the iPhone Pocket takes ridiculous pricing to an entirely new level. First of all, it looks stupid. Especially on a man. And secondly, you can literally cut a cheap sock down the middle, sew the end and have the exact same thing for under $5! There are countless youtube & tik tok videos of people doing exactly that. If this product was announced on April 1st we’d all assume it was an April Fools joke. The fact that it is real blows my mind. Laughable. And I will laugh at anyone

Shame about the AIR. Thought about it, looked at it but having one camera was a no go. Consumer Cellular has had them on sale -$200 since launch.

Steve Jobs types don't grow on trees. There probably isn't one currently employed by Apple so you're gonna be waiting a while.

Regarding the iPhone Air:

After years of carrying around ever heavier iPhone Pro Max bricks, I finally decided to buy an iPhone Air and see if its lightness and ease of use would, at least to some degree, counter the loss of extra cameras, good speakers, and longer battery life. As it turns out, the only camera capability I've regretted losing is the ability to do macro photography. Battery life is a non-issue. But then there's that speaker. When I first got my iPhone Air, my son called - I didn't even recognize his voice. Fidelity is definitely not this iPhone Air speaker's strong suit. I recommend the iPhone group borrow audio technologists from the HomePod group and create a more natural sound for the next iPhone Air.

P.S. I read on a different site that the iPhone Air 2 will be delayed until March 2027 allowing incorporation of the soon to be ready 2nm technology from TSMC which will allow for more malleable chip layout and even longer battery life. I'll upgrade then.
